About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Lead, coach, and manage a team of Software Quality Engineers supporting multiple BDS programs
Translate program technical and contractual requirements into SQE priorities and deliverables
Define and implement SQE processes, checklists, and metrics to verify software compliance, reliability, and safety on assigned programs
Provide approval and oversight of technical approaches and software quality artifacts
Coordinate supplier SQE activities to ensure quality and conformance

Requirements

What you’ll need

At least one year of experience in a leadership role OR completion of the Boeing internal course “Exploring Leadership”
Bachelor's degree or higher
5+ years of experience supporting software development programs
1+ year of experience supporting software quality engineering with AS9115 and/or DO-178 requirements
1+ year of experience working with program leadership to prioritize and resolve technical quality issues
