Key responsibilities & impact

Supports the design, architecture, and development of simulation models
Supports partnership with stakeholders to review and identify simulation requirements
Contributes to data collection and processing for use in simulations
Supports validation, verification, and refinement of simulation software code
Contributes to documenting and maintaining technical code, algorithms, specifications
Supports partnership with cross-functional engineering teams

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor’s Degree
Ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship
2+ years of experience developing software using C++
2+ years of experience with software development on Windows or Linux
Level 2: Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited course of study in engineering, technology, chemistry, physics, mathematics, data science, or computer science and 2+ years of related work experience OR Bachelor’s Degree and 6+ years of directly related work experience OR 10+ years of related, relevant experience
Active U.S. Secret Clearance & Special Program Access
2 years of experience using standard Software Development and Configuration Management tools such as Jira, Git, Bitbucket, VersionOne/Agility, GNAT Pro, GLStudio, MS Visual Studio
Experience developing in C#, Ada, Fortran, OpenGL, Python, and Qt
Experience in Unity game engine and scripting.
Knowledge of aircraft systems, including weapons, night vision system, mechanics, hydraulics, electronics, flight controls, etc.
Knowledge of cloud architecture, including the different types of clouds (public, private, and hybrid)
Ability to automate and script skills.
Knowledge of containerization technologies
Knowledge of understanding of networking concepts, including IP addressing, subnetting, routing, and security
Ability to perform Application Programming Interface (API) design, implementation, and testing.
Knowledge of real-time software architecture and design methodologies
Knowledge of build and execution environments
Ability to design and develop software testing processes
