About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Assists the definition, validation, verification and documentation of complex electronic and electrical system requirements.
  • Supports the definition and coordination of functional and physical interfaces between the fuel system and the vehicle.
  • Supports the development of specifications, architectural and configuration concepts for fuel system electrical and electronic installations to meet customer and regulatory requirements.
  • Assists testing, analysis, modeling and simulation tools to estimate or calculate system performance or electromagnetic/electrostatics effects.
  • Assists certification tests for fuel systems and their components.
  • Supports solutions of problems of fielded equipment over the entire product lifecycle. Supports fielded systems to ensure continued reliability.
  • Assists writing of Functional Hazard Assessments, System Safety Assessment reports, Test Proposals, Test Results, Certifications Plans, and Issue Papers.
  • Supports activities with equipment suppliers, certification authorities and other areas to ensure system integration and compliance with requirements.
  • Engineers in this position are expected to work assignments, collaborate with teammates, and receive tasks from managers and senior engineers.
  • This position will require occasional national and/or international travel.

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Must have existing rights to work in Brazil.
  • Must have a Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering.
  • Must be registered or eligible to register with the Engineering and Agronomy Regional Council (Conselho Regional de Engenharia e Agronomia - CREA).
  • Proficient in both verbal and written communications skills in the English Language.
  • Experience with Electrical Design, Analysis and Certification for transport category airplanes.
  • Experience with electrical system circuit diagrams and schematics.
  • Experience with electrostatics analysis and testing for fuels.
