About the role

  • Leads activities to architect, design, build and test instances of Boeing's Siemens Teamcenter configurations
  • Assist with installation and configuration of Teamcenter and perform hardware and server setups to support Teamcenter environments
  • Collaborate with Siemens on Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) software tools and help expand the environment team
  • Incorporate Boeing-specific configurations, customizations, and enhancements into Teamcenter environments
  • Work with Teamcenter architects to optimize requirements for successful implementation in production environments
  • Provide technical solutions and expertise associated with Siemens Teamcenter integrations
  • Ensure all process and system solutions meet company security policies
  • Provide project plan information including resource estimates, task dependencies, and risks to program/project planners
  • Deploy (install, upgrade, migrate) and upgrade Teamcenter environments to new Teamcenter versions
  • Demonstrate initiative for learning and adaptability to complex situations

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher
  • 1+ years of experience deploying and sustaining Siemens Team Center application instances
  • 1+ year of experience integrating complex applications on Windows and Linux platforms
  • Experience with problem solving
  • 3 or more years’ related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (preferred)
  • Experience with configuring and installing team center environments (preferred)
  • Experience with Linux shell scripting (preferred)
  • Experience with Windows batch and power shell scripting (preferred)
  • Experience administering and troubleshooting java application servers (Weblogic, Websphere, Jboss, etc.) (preferred)
  • Experience with Application development (preferred)
  • Experience with server and/or database administration (preferred)
  • Cloud application migration experience (preferred)
  • Experience with AWS services/tools (preferred)
  • Experience using Ansible (preferred)
  • Agile Software Process experience (preferred)
  • Experience with Azure Dev Ops (ADO) and Agile methodologies (preferred)
  • Ability to obtain U.S. Security Clearance; U.S. Citizenship required
  • Must meet export control compliance: must be a "U.S. Person" (U.S. Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee)
