About the role
- Build and integrate microservices and REST APIs to support application functionality
- Assist in the design and development of solutions leveraging generative AI technologies
- Support software and system integration development efforts in support of digital engineering / model-based engineering capabilities
- Develop and maintain scalable data pipelines and ontologies
- Work cross-functionally with multiple Integrated Product Teams (IPTs) to assist and enable their adoption of new digital engineering capabilities throughout the engineering lifecycle
- Actively participate in agile development, including program increment planning
- Adhere to Systems Engineering and DevSecOps processes to develop applications and workflows that support data analysis and visualization
- Work onsite (position expected to be 100% onsite) with travel up to 10% as needed
Requirements
- Bachelor of Science degree in engineering, engineering technology, chemistry, physics, mathematics, data science, or computer science (or equivalent)
- 2+ years related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience
- Coursework or work-related programming experience with Ada, C, C++, C#, Java, or Python
- 2+ years’ experience working in a project utilizing modern software development methodologies (e.g. agile)
- Active U.S. Secret Security Clearance (U.S. Citizenship Required) or one active in past 24 months
- Ability to obtain and maintain Special Access Program (SAP) clearance
- Employer will not sponsor applicants for employment visa status
- Must meet export control compliance (U.S. Person as defined by 22 C.F.R. §120.15)
- This position is expected to be 100% onsite; travel may be required up to 10%
- Preferred: API integration, Python and/or Javascript, React, Kubernetes/Docker, data modeling and ontology, Siemens Teamcenter PLM experience, SysML/MBSE, CI/CD tools (GitLab, JIRA, Confluence), hybrid on-prem/cloud environments, high performance computing, generative AI technologies including model training and deployment
