About the role
- Incorporate sourcing strategies, ensure compliant procurement practices and support process improvement initiatives
- Proactive engagement with various disciplines and program stakeholders
- Collaborate with internal teams to gain process efficiencies and meet customer requirements
- Integrate program, customer, product and program strategies into source selection, negotiation and contracting strategies
- Negotiate pricing and contract terms and conditions
- Prepare and execute negotiated contractual documents and binding agreements
- Conduct risk, issues and opportunities management
- Prepare and execute proprietary information agreements
- Develop and manage requests for proposals, negotiations and documenting of contracts and agreements
- Manage supply and demand, schedules, supplier quality, delivery and financial performance
- Initiate and execute supplier improvement activities and integrate results into contracting strategies
- Travel expected to be less than 10%
Requirements
- More than 5 years of experience in Supply Chain and/or Supply Chain Management
- More than 5 years of experience in Microsoft Office
- More than 3 years of experience with supplier contracts and negotiations
- Experience in Customer Service
- Experience in contracts and proposals (preferred)
- Experience leading supplier terms & conditions and price negotiations (preferred)
- Experience negotiating price and schedule with suppliers and customers (preferred)
- Experience using SAP software (preferred)
- Bachelor’s Degree or higher preferred
- Ability to obtain U.S. Security Clearance; U.S. Citizenship required
- U.S. Person as defined by 22 C.F.R. §120.15 required
