Develops and implements production and tooling methodologies
Participates on Integrated Product Teams (IPTs) to integrate technical solutions across multiple disciplines
Develops, identifies and implements conceptual designs and maintains the program architecture for build
Leads and implements manufacturing plans
Conducts producibility and variation analyses to ensure that manufacturing process capability matches requirements
Assists in providing producibility information for inclusion in project plans and helps document producibility best practices
Analyzes design/build concepts to evaluate producible design/build definitions
Resolves technical problems of significant impact to performance, cost or schedule
Coordinates and implements new engineering principles, theories, advanced technologies and concepts
Validates and ensures production readiness of solutions to complex problems
Implements lean principles and technologies
Position expected to be 100% onsite at listed location options (Hazelwood, MO or Mesa, AZ)
Requirements
Bachelor of Science degree in engineering, engineering technology (includes manufacturing engineering technology), chemistry, physics, mathematics, data science, or computer science OR equivalent combination of technical education and experience
5+ years of related work experience with a Bachelors OR an equivalent combination of technical education and experience
Preferred: Level 4: 9+ years of related work experience with a Bachelors OR an equivalent combination of technical education and experience
Experience working in an AS9100 manufacturing environment and Quality Management System (QMS)
Experience with AS6500 methods and procedures
Experience conducting internal and external (supplier) audits
Experience with First Part Qualifications (FPQ), First Article Inspections (FAI) and/or Supplier or Processor Qualifications
Experience with Manufacturing Maturation Plans (MMP)
Working knowledge of composite and/or metallic aircraft structure fabrication and assembly techniques
Experience conducting PFMEA and APQP analysis
Familiarity with Root Cause and Corrective Action (RCCA) best practices
Ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance (interim and/or final U.S. Secret Clearance post-start) — U.S. Citizenship required for clearance and program access
Export control compliance: must meet definition of “U.S. Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. §120.15 (U.S. Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee)
