About the role
- Support Boeing’s Air Dominance (AD) program as part of the U.S. Specialized Infrastructure Operations team
- Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines to automate build, test, and deployment processes for COTS and custom-built applications
- Integrate DevSecOps tools to automate security checks and vulnerability assessments within the CI/CD pipeline
- Lead and mentor senior and junior DevSecOps developers while acting as an individual contributor
- Focus on cloud migrations, cloud optimization, and implementing Cloud First strategies across multiple cloud providers
- Build and sustain infrastructure, computing systems, and applications through a robust DevSecOps pipeline using automation technologies
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (development, security, operations, product) to embed security in the application lifecycle
- Enhance operational security by implementing monitoring, logging, and alerting systems
- Participate in Agile SAFE ceremonies and provide input on security and automation best practices
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to CI/CD processes, security tools, and operational security
- Provide training and guidance to teams on CI/CD, DevSecOps, and operational security best practices
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements through automated checks and controls
- Document and maintain CI/CD workflows, security protocols, and operational procedures
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience with Development Operations (DevOps)
- 5+ years of experience with scripting programming languages such as Python, MATLAB, or similar
- 5+ years of experience with DevOps software including GitLab, Ansible, Terraform, Jira, Azure DevOps Pipelines, GitHub, AWS CodeBuild, AWS CodePipelines, AWS CodeGuru
- 5+ years of experience with GitLab, Azure DevOps and CI/CD (Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery)
- 5+ years of experience working within an Agile development team
- 3+ years of experience in integrating security tools like SAST, DAST, and vulnerability scanners into CI/CD pipelines
- Experience with cloud platforms (e.g. AWS or Azure), infrastructure as code (e.g., Terraform), and automation tools (e.g. Puppet, Ansible, Chef)
- Preferred: Bachelor’s degree or higher
- Preferred: Current certifications such as AWS Certified DevOps Engineer, CISSP, or Docker Certified Associate
- Preferred: Experience with containerization and orchestration tools (Tanzu, OpenShift, Kubernetes, Docker)
- Experience with security frameworks and standards (e.g. NIST 800-53) and network security/intrusion detection/prevention systems
- Experience with serverless architectures and associated security challenges
- Active U.S. Secret Security Clearance required (U.S. Citizenship required)
