About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Lead the design, development, test, and maintenance of non-embedded software throughout the end-to-end lifecycle that meets industry, customer, safety, and regulation standards
Lead review, analysis, and translation of customer requirements into initial design of software products
Coordinate the development, maintenance, enhancement and optimization of software products and functionalities for systems integrations
Lead activities to develop, document and maintain architectures, requirements, algorithms, interfaces and designs for software products
Debug and lead resolution of issues identified to ensure the reliability and efficiency of software products
Lead handling of user inquiries, troubleshooting technical issues and user feedback analysis
Lead research and implementation of current and emerging technologies, tools, frameworks and changes in regulations relevant to software development
Lead development, establishment, monitoring and improvement of software processes, tools and key performance metrics that align projects with organizational goals and industry benchmarks
Lead execution and documentation of software research and development projects

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor’s degree
Active Top Secret/SCI Clearance
5+ years of experience in software engineering
Experience in DevOps tools like; Git, Jenkins, or CI/CD
2+ years’ experience in Python/C++ programming on full stack software projects/programs
Experience with AWS, AWS Lambdas, Docker, Kubernetes
Experience developing and maintaining REST APIs and interfaces
Experience with practices such as test-driven development (TDD), agile software development, continuous integration, and dependency management
Experience with satellite ground mission capabilities, products, and/or customers
Experience with DevSecOps and continuous integration (CI/CD, Jenkins, GitLab)
