About the role
- Develop Python based devops tools
- Support devops tasks related across the Boeing Software Factory
- Develop tooling that automates the orchestration, packaging, and testing of software products across the company
- Gitlab CI Pipeline implementation and updates to existing pipelines
- Bazel module updates and implementation to support various development languages
- Python tool development
- Work under general direction with various teams to help with their migration into the Boeing Software Factory
- Complete technical assessment (CodeVue Coding Challenge) as part of selection process
Requirements
- 2+ years of experience developing Python modules and/or scripts
- 2+ years of experience developing CI/CD pipelines (Gitlab CI preferred)
- 3+ years of experience developing software for embedded systems, using one or more real-time operating systems (RTOS) (preferred)
- 2+ years of experience with C/C++ development (preferred)
- 1+ years of experience with Bazel (Module development preferred) (preferred)
- Rust development experience (preferred)
- Familiarity with Agile software development methodologies (preferred)
- Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited course of study in engineering, engineering technology (includes manufacturing engineering technology), chemistry, physics, mathematics, data science, or computer science (preferred)
- "U.S. Person" as defined by 22 C.F.R. §120.15 required (U.S. Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee)
