About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Develop and validate Electromagnetic Environmental Effects (E3) requirements and architectures
  • Conduct tests to validate designs to requirements
  • Provide EMI/EMC expertise during design, modification, supplier engagement, and manufacturing activities
  • Perform trade studies, modeling, simulation, and analyses to predict component and system performance
  • Collaborate with manufacturing and suppliers on E3 design aspects
  • Review supplier test plans and reports
  • Support project management by developing work statements, budgets, and schedules
  • Collaborate with other engineering disciplines to assess changes to equipment

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering (Electrical, Mechanical, Aeronautical), Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry or equivalent
  • 2 or more years of related experience
  • Familiarity with electromagnetic concepts such as RF isolation, shielding, grounding, and filtering
  • Willingness to travel up to 25% as required
  • 5+ years related work experience for Level 3
  • 7+ years related work experience for Level 4
  • ABET-accredited Bachelor’s in electrical engineering or an advanced degree preferred
  • Active U.S. Security Clearance preferred
