About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Develop and validate Electromagnetic Environmental Effects (E3) requirements and architectures
- Conduct tests to validate designs to requirements
- Provide EMI/EMC expertise during design, modification, supplier engagement, and manufacturing activities
- Perform trade studies, modeling, simulation, and analyses to predict component and system performance
- Collaborate with manufacturing and suppliers on E3 design aspects
- Review supplier test plans and reports
- Support project management by developing work statements, budgets, and schedules
- Collaborate with other engineering disciplines to assess changes to equipment
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering (Electrical, Mechanical, Aeronautical), Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry or equivalent
- 2 or more years of related experience
- Familiarity with electromagnetic concepts such as RF isolation, shielding, grounding, and filtering
- Willingness to travel up to 25% as required
- 5+ years related work experience for Level 3
- 7+ years related work experience for Level 4
- ABET-accredited Bachelor’s in electrical engineering or an advanced degree preferred
- Active U.S. Security Clearance preferred
