About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Define and own the system architecture for EW and radar-enabled systems
- Translate mission and vehicle-level performance requirements into system-level requirements
- Lead trade studies to balance EW and radar capability
- Architect software-defined EW and radar solutions
- Provide technical leadership for electronics design
- Work closely with systems engineering, mechanical, thermal, power, and vehicle integration teams
- Mentor and guide engineering teams in best practices
- Engage with suppliers and partners to specify interfaces
- Author technical white papers and program briefs
- Present technical findings to internal stakeholders and external customers
- Lead government contracts for research and development of EW and radar systems
- Coordinate with programs of record and integration leads
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, or non-US equivalent qualifications
- 14+ years of work-related experience with a bachelor’s degree or 12+ years with a masters or 9+ years with a PhD
- 10+ years of professional experience in RF systems for SIGNIT, Electronic Warfare, Information Operations, or Cyber
- Hands-on knowledge of Electronic Warfare techniques and radar techniques
- Experience in electronic warfare principles, techniques, and technologies
