About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Develop and execute strategies for small business subcontracting program execution
- Manage and mentor a team of Small Business Liaison Officers
- Ensure compliance with federal regulations
- Lead supplier engagement and development activities
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders
Requirements
What you’ll need- At least one year of experience in a leadership role
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Supply Chain, Public Administration, or related field
- 5+ years of progressive experience in small business advocacy, subcontracting, or procurement
- 5+ years of experience with Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR)
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
- Experience with Mentor-Protégé programs and Small Business Innovation Research engagements
