About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Responsible for designing, developing, testing, and maintaining full stack software applications that support business and operational needs
- Strong technical expertise across front-end and back-end development, database integration, and cloud-based solutions
- Collaborate effectively across teams
- Integrate intelligent capabilities into modern application solutions in an agile framework
- Prioritize tasks and lead reviews
- Assist project leads with risk management and progress reviews
- Develop software applications
- Ensure application of best practices
- Support estimation reviews of statements of work
- Participate in the development of fundamental approaches to projects and requirements for implementation
- Lead development, maintenance, and unit tests for software applications
- Lead architecture decisions and best practice implementations using current and emerging technologies
- Mentor and guide junior developers, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement within the team
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree
- 5+ years of experience in full stack software application development
- 5+ years of experience in at least one back-end language/platform such as: Java or Python
- 3+ years of experience with Microservices, Docker, Kubernetes development
- 3+ years of experience in at least one modern front-end framework such as: TypeScript, ReactJS or Redux
- 3+ years of experience in backend frameworks/API Protocols like Spring, GraphQL, Hibernate and/or Spring Data
- Experience with version control tools, especially Git
- Experience integrating AI capabilities into applications, including prompt engineering and RAG (Retrieval Augmented Generation)
