About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Administers benefit programs
- Provides employee support on benefit and leave related issues
- Responsible for regular employee (and leadership) communication that help increase the utilization and overall value of our benefit offerings
- Leads corporate communication efforts regarding employee health, well-being and connectedness
- Maintains knowledge of compliance initiatives, trends, best practices, regulatory changes and new technologies in benefits including both domestic and international
- Makes recommendations on designing and implementation of benefit plans, including costs
- Works with insurance providers and vendors to resolve employee issues
- Analyzes and reports on benefits data
- Supports all benefits audit and compliance reporting
- Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements
What you’ll need- 1+ years of experience in a benefits role for a large company or as a benefits consultant for an HR consulting firm
- Experience with implementing or consulting on compensation and benefits strategies
- Extensive knowledge of employee benefits and applicable laws
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
