About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Support procurement activities for aftermarket goods and services
- Manage supplier purchase orders/contracts
- Oversee source selection for parts and services
- Manage contractual documents including RFPs, supplier contracts, and purchase orders
- Support Proposal Board activities
- Gather data for supplier performance evaluation and improvement
- Manage supplier performance, interpreting and enforcing contract terms
- Initiate supplier improvement activities
- Communicate with stakeholders to integrate strategies
- Coach, mentor, and train junior team members
Requirements
What you’ll need- Experience working in Supply Chain
- Experience working with Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business, or related discipline (preferred)
- 2+ years of experience in Supplier Management/Procurement as a Purchasing Agent or Buyer (preferred)
- Experience in proposing, negotiating, and executing contracts and/or subcontracts (desired)
- Experience with strategic sourcing and managing supplier performance (desired)
- Experience with Project Management (desired)
