About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Perform operational checkout of aircraft prior to and during preflight
- Inspect explosive and armament installations
- Maintain aircraft historical records
- Perform activities prior to flight status and final inspection of completed experimental aircraft
- Diagnose and correct hydraulic and mechanical malfunctions
- Repair, install and hook up bomb, missile and rocket racks
- Fabricate parts such as skins, doors, aircraft frames, and test panels
Requirements
What you’ll need- Flight line experience
- Avionics and/or Mechanical experience working with military aircraft
- Experience troubleshooting electronic and aircraft systems
- Ability to obtain a US Security Clearance (US Citizenship required)
