Key responsibilities & impact

Lead by demonstrating and holding all accountable to the Boeing Values and Behaviors.
Coach, develop, and motivate employees.
Manage employees performing activities in multiple manufacturing disciplines.
Develop and execute business plans, policies and procedures and develop organizational and technical strategies.
Acquire resources, provide technical management of suppliers and lead process improvements.
Develop and maintain relationships and partnerships with customers, stakeholders, peers, partners, and direct reports.
Provide oversight and approval of technical approaches, products, and processes.

What you’ll need

At least one year of experience in a leadership role (team leader, temp manager, large scale cross functional project/program management, or formal manager experience) OR completion of the Boeing internal course "Exploring Leadership."
3+ years of experience in aerospace or manufacturing
1+ years of experience improving processes using Lean manufacturing and/or continuous improvement techniques
Ability to work the shift assigned, including overtime and weekends
