About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Lead by demonstrating and holding all accountable to the Boeing Values and Behaviors.
- Coach, develop, and motivate employees.
- Manage employees performing activities in multiple manufacturing disciplines.
- Develop and execute business plans, policies and procedures and develop organizational and technical strategies.
- Acquire resources, provide technical management of suppliers and lead process improvements.
- Develop and maintain relationships and partnerships with customers, stakeholders, peers, partners, and direct reports.
- Provide oversight and approval of technical approaches, products, and processes.
Requirements
What you’ll need- At least one year of experience in a leadership role (team leader, temp manager, large scale cross functional project/program management, or formal manager experience) OR completion of the Boeing internal course "Exploring Leadership."
- 3+ years of experience in aerospace or manufacturing
- 1+ years of experience improving processes using Lean manufacturing and/or continuous improvement techniques
- Ability to work the shift assigned, including overtime and weekends
