About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Manages employees performing activities in multiple manufacturing disciplines
- Develops and executes business plans, policies and procedures and develops organizational and technical strategies
- Acquires resources, provides technical management of suppliers and leads process improvements
- Develops and maintains relationships and partnerships with customers, stakeholders, peers, partners and direct reports
- Provides oversight and approval of technical approaches, products and processes
- Manages, develops and motivates employees
Requirements
What you’ll need- 5+ years of experience working in an aerospace, fabrication, or manufacturing environment
- 5+ years of experience in a role requiring strong interpersonal and communication skills
- 5+ years of experience leading or managing projects that involved cross-functional or cross-business unit teams
- At least one year of experience in a leadership role or completion of the Boeing internal course "Exploring Leadership"
