About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Understand and apply job practices, techniques, standards, principles, theories, and concepts
  • Assist with the development and documentation of electronic and electrical system requirements according to customer desires and contract requirements
  • Assist in monitoring suppliers' performance to ensure compliance with requirements
  • Analyze, translate and implement customer requirements into system architecture, hardware, and software designs and interface specifications, showing traceability throughout the product lifecycle
  • Develop or modify basic hardware and software designs based on defined requirements
  • Perform system tests to verify operational and functional requirements
  • Assist in resolving product integration issues and production anomalies
  • Research basic technologies for potential application to internal business strategies
  • Solve problems concerning fielded hardware and software over the entire product lifecycle

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering (with a focus in Electrical, Mechanical, or Aeronautical), Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, or non-US equivalent qualifications
  • Currently reside in OR willing to relocate to the St. Louis, Missouri region
  • 2 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience (for Level 2)
  • Experience in the Aerospace Industry
  • Experience using good communication, analytical, and organizational skills and able to work in a team environment
  • Experience within a design/build or test team
  • Experience creating, developing, and/or maintaining engineering processes
  • Experience with electronic/electrical system designs or test based on requirements
