About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Evaluate supplier capabilities, performance, and market offerings
- Develop source selection, negotiation, and contracting strategies that satisfy customer needs
- Negotiate long-term agreements (terms and conditions)
- Create and oversee strategic contracts
- Engage in stakeholder and contract lifecycle management
- Support the development and implementation of category strategies
- Demonstrate strong business and financial insight
- Recommend and implement supply chain process improvements
- Participate in cross-functional teams to identify and develop implementation plans
Requirements
What you’ll need- 3+ years of experience in working with Supplier Management, Supply Chain, Procurement and/or strategic sourcing practices and processes
- 3+ years of experience in contracts/supplier management
- 3+ years of experience in leading supplier contract negotiations
- 3+ years of experience in managing supplier relationships
- 3+ years of experience conducting price negotiations and negotiating, interpreting, and editing terms and conditions with support from a contracts team
- 3+ years of experience collaborating with IT suppliers and negotiating IT contracts
- 3+ years of experience implementing process and/or strategy improvements
- Project leadership skills and the ability to build positive working relationships
- Professional verbal and written communication skills, frequently leveraged when presenting to all levels of an organization
- Experience with SAP Ariba
