About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Manage and ensure the flawless execution of classified security programs
- Lead and mentor employees, perform security administration activities to protect information from unauthorized disclosure
- Conduct security inquiries, oversee compliance assessments implementation security controls and protecting personnel, information, and equipment
- Study and implement federal security regulations that apply to company program operations
- Obtain rulings, interpretations, and acceptable deviations for compliance with regulations from government agencies
- Develop and maintain relationships and partnerships with customers, stakeholders, peers, partners and direct reports
- Provide oversight and approval of technical approaches, products and processes
- Assist with team members' professional development and growth
Requirements
What you’ll need- 1+ years of experience in a leadership role (team leader, temp manager, large scale cross functional project/program management, or formal manager experience)
- Successfully completed Tier 5 Investigation (T5)
- 5+ years of experience with Industrial Security
- 3+ years of experience in personnel security administration, physical security, communications security and/or other programmatic security-related field
- Ability to obtain and maintain access to a Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) and/or Special Access Programs (SAP) access
- Willing to submit to and successfully pass a U.S. Government-administered polygraph examination
