About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Manage pre-contract sourcing efforts and post-contract vendor management of IDT&S key suppliers
  • Serve as a Vendor Manager for Dell Technologies
  • Work closely with IDT&S leadership and Product Managers to refine sourcing strategies
  • Develop Request for Proposal/Information documentation (e.g. Statements of Work, Performance Metrics)
  • Lead technical evaluations of bidder proposals
  • Drive vendor governance, relationship management, performance management, and Risk, Issue, Opportunity (RIO) mitigation support.
  • Manage stakeholder & supplier relationships through the sourcing lifecycle
  • Identify, manage, and lead mitigations of sourcing or vendor related risks, issues, and opportunities

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s degree or higher
  • 10+ years of experience in sourcing or equivalent combination of procurement, project management, and vendor management
  • 5+ years of experience leading or managing projects that involved cross-functional or cross-business unit teams
  • 5+ years of experience interfacing with and presenting to senior and/or executive leadership
  • 5+ years of experience working with senior leaders/executives to communicate strategic plans and objectives
  • 1+ years of experience working with Artificial Intelligence (AI)
  • Experience using or applying metrics to measure performance against projects
  • Experience developing supplier statements of work and supplier performance oversight
  • Experience working with Microsoft Office Suite
