About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Work assigned requests and projects to include design, development, and testing of Microsoft Access/VBA and SQL Server based tools
  • Perform updates of documentation related to development efforts and support implementation in production
  • Support daily interface operations to and from external applications to Costpoint ERP system
  • Collaborating with stakeholders in other departments to come up with solutions
  • Provide Costpoint user support, documenting issues, troubleshooting, and general support of the software
  • Provide backup for department manager as needed

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • bachelor’s degree in information systems or related discipline
  • 5+ years’ experience in software development using Microsoft SQL Server and stored procedures
  • 5+ years’ experience in programming with Microsoft Visual Basic for Applications (VBA), MS Access and Office applications
  • 2+ years’ experience using IBM Cognos
  • 2+ years’ experience with Sarbanes-Oxley and implementing security best practices to safeguard sensitive data
