About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Lead development and documentation of complex electronic and electrical system requirements
- Translate requirements into system architecture and interface specifications
- Lead testing and validation efforts for system designs
- Oversee supplier performance monitoring and compliance
- Provide production build support, verification, and disposition of nonconformance
- Lead troubleshooting during Development and Production Acceptance Testing
- Review supplier drawing changes impacting production
- Manage critical supplier performance and maintain Source Control Drawing requirements
- Collaborate with Supply Chain on Requests for Information
- Support project management activities including budgets and technical reviews
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering (Electrical, Mechanical, or Aeronautical)
- 5+ years related work experience or equivalent combination of education and experience
- 3+ years of experience with aerospace and avionics systems for Level 3
- 9+ years related work experience for Level 4
- 5+ years of experience with aerospace and avionics systems for Level 4
- Experience with Pspice, LTSpice or equivalent schematic capture and circuit simulation tool
- Proficiency with electronics lab instrumentation
- Familiar with electrical engineering power standards (MIL-STD-704)
- Familiarity/experience with Earned Value Management System (EVMS)
