About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

work in the Boeing Digital Services solutions team to develop, maintain and improve Aviation Operational Efficiency Software products;
Collaborate within an Agile team setting, working as a group to drive Epic/Feature/Story creation as well as solution design and architecture;
Create and maintain necessary software design and architecture documentation;
Keep track of and actively reduce technical debt;
Conduct research and stay updated on industry trends, competition offerings and advancements in aircraft performance and sustainability;
Research and recommend new system requirements to improve the product capabilities;

Requirements

What you’ll need

Experience in Flight Management Systems
Experience with Matlab/Python scripting
Experience in Machine learning and data analytics
Experience in Deep Learning and Neural Network models
Experience/Exposure to Flight Operations
Experience related to EFB/Flight Deck applications
Education/experience typically acquired through a bachelor’s in engineering (Electrical/Electronics/Mechanical/Aerospace) and typically 5 to 8 years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience;
Must have experience working with cross-functional teams spread across multiple products
Must be flexible, with a high tolerance for organizational complexity and ability to work with partners from within Boeing and outside, across different cultures and time-zones;
Excellent verbal and written English, including grammar;
Problem Solving;
Must be an excellent team player;
Must be a self-starter with a positive attitude, high ethics, strong analytical and creative problem-solving skills and a track record of working successfully under pressure in a time-constrained environment;
