About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Enhance The Boeing Company’s reputation in India in support of business and policy objectives, working across stakeholder constituencies including employees, media, customers, supplier-partners, government and industry leaders, academia, and digital creators.
- Support in-market business objectives including market shaping, sales campaigns, keep-it-sold initiatives, and employee engagement by developing compelling storytelling and communications content.
- Collaborate with Boeing business and functional stakeholders to translate complex engineering, technology, and industry developments into clear, engaging and inspiring stories.
- Support development of integrated communications initiatives that combine multimedia storytelling and emerging media platforms to amplify Boeing’s messages in India and the region.
- Drive employee and executive communications through multimedia content and storytelling.
- Identify and curate stories across Boeing’s India operations including Boeing’s technology leadership, innovation, local partnerships, and socio-economic impact in India.
- Develop long- and short-form narratives, feature stories, scripts, and thought leadership content that support both employee and external stakeholder communication across multimedia platforms.
- Contribute to the development of a newsroom-style storytelling model for Boeing India that enables a consistent flow of stories across the Boeing global and India website, @Boeing_In, and Boeing’s LinkedIn and Instagram pages.
- Maintain editorial planning processes that identify opportunities for proactive storytelling and thought leadership.
- Coordinate development of storytelling assets including backgrounders, briefs, video scripts, and feature content.
- Work with agencies and internal creative resources to produce high-quality content supporting Boeing’s communications priorities.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree is required as basic qualification.
- Strong editorial and writing skills with the ability to translate complex technical subjects into compelling narratives.
- Experience developing multimedia storytelling formats including podcasts, video scripts, and digital storytelling initiatives.
- Fluency in English language with strong writing and editing skills.
- Knowledge of AP style guide an added advantage.
- At least 8-10 years of experience in communications roles, including media relations, digital communications, and content development.
- Skill in using Microsoft Office tools such as Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Demonstrated experience developing strategic content and storytelling initiatives.
- Experience working with multiple stakeholder groups including media, government, industry partners, and corporate leadership.
