About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Develop and maintain software products for the next generation
- Participate in all aspects of agile software development, including design, implementation, and deployment
- Works across the full stack, building highly scalable distributed solutions that enable positive user experiences and measurable business growth
- Develop new features and infrastructure in support of rapidly emerging business and project requirements
- Assume leadership of new projects, from conceptualization to deployment
- Ensure application performance, uptime, and scale, and maintain high standards for code quality and application design
- Engage with designers and front-end engineers and collaborate with leading back-end engineers to create reliable APIs
- Collaborate proactively with customers, stakeholders, peers and direct reports to understand operational and performance expectations
- Cultivate a positive team culture
Requirements
What you’ll need- 5+ years of experience developing software products in a cloud environment
- 5+ years of experience writing software for data services
- 5+ years of experience in full-stack software development
- 5+ experience in building large-scale web applications using React, Angular or Vue
- Demonstrated design and system thinking skills
- 5+ years’ experience in at least one programming language like JavaScript, Java, HTML/CSS, TypeScript, SQL, Python, Node.js and Go
- Experience with Open-Source RDBMS and NoSQL databases
- Container Orchestration services including Docker and Kubernetes
- 5+ years’ experience in unit/integration testing
- 5+ years’ experience in developing web services (REST, SOAP, etc.)
- 5+ years’ experience in containerization (Docker, OCI)
- 1+ years’ experience leading software development teams
