About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Support a project management-based gated process using the phase-gate process
- Assist in demonstrating the effectiveness of test methods
- Develop test procedures and the instrumentation and configuration definition needed to perform each test and minimize risk
- Design component and sub-assembly level hardware or software and use analytical tools to verify design
- Assist in coordinating the manufacture and assembly of test hardware
- Identify solutions to basic problems and support the development of metrology processes, methods, and tools
- Participate in evaluating test performance data for accuracy, quality, or fidelity
- Alerts senior engineers of off-nominal data and prepare test reports for review prior to delivery to customer
- Support development of test debrief material
- Collaborate with program management, design authority engineering groups, operations, and government customer counterparts
Requirements
What you’ll need- 1+ year of related experience
- Manufacturing, production, or electrical/instrumentation engineering experience
- Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology, Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry or non-US equivalent qualifications
- Ability to get a U.S. Security Clearance for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship
- An interim or final U.S. Secret clearance post-start is required
