About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Develop next generation machine perception solutions for aerospace applications
- Co-lead or participate in projects to support engineering solutions
- Own end-to-end development of perception pipelines
- Implement GPU enabled solutions for localization and detection
- Collaborate with ML teams for scalable solutions
- Help in the adoption of new tools and technology
- Document results of research and development projects
- Track and evaluate performance for project conformance
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor's or Master's degree
- 10+ years of overall work experience
- 7+ years in computer vision, perception, and mobile sensor platforms
- Excellent presentation & communication skills
- Strong research background in machine perception
- Masters / Ph.D. desired in related discipline
- Expertise in building perception solutions
- Strong 3D computer vision fundamentals
- Experience with sensor fusion and state estimation
- Must have programming experience in Python, C++, ROS, OpenCV, Open3D, GTSAM
- Solid software engineering practices
