About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Develop cross-functional partnerships to achieve team and program goals
- Foster a culture of safety, quality, integrity, and inclusion on the machining floor
- Inspire a shared sense of urgency and ownership to meet aggressive production schedules
- Coordinate daily priorities, remove roadblocks, and ensure disciplined execution across shifts
- Develop and execute integrated assembly departmental plans, policies, and procedures
- Acquire and allocate resources to support current production and future growth
- Build strong partnerships with engineering, quality, supply chain, and operations teams
- Provide oversight and approval of assembly technical approaches and processes
Requirements
What you’ll need- 5+ years of experience in an aerospace, fabrication or manufacturing environment
- 5+ years of experience leading teams in a formal and/or informal role
- 5+ years of experience leading project teams to meet project objectives and deliverables
- Willing and able to travel domestically
