Key responsibilities & impact

Develops, integrates, and documents structural and interior payload system requirements to establish overall system design
Creates, maintains, and updates structural and interior payload system and component designs using 3‑D CAD tools and other design methods
Performs and integrates analytical and test results to validate and verify systems and components meet requirements and specifications
Manages supplier development, test, and production activities; coordinates with suppliers to optimize designs and achieve program goals
Develops and improves design/analysis processes and tools to increase effectiveness, quality, and efficiency
Investigates emerging technologies to propose concepts for future product designs that meet projected requirements
Prepares and reviews technical data, engineering releases, and compliance summary reports supporting installation and certification

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering (with a focus on Mechanical, Civil, Aerospace Aeronautical or Material Sciences)
2+ years of relevant experience or equivalent industry experience
Ability to travel domestically and internationally as required
