About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • System Integration support and leadership from design through test and fielding
  • Support all aspects of hardware/software integration of weapons to platforms
  • Development of functional-level and detail-level hardware/software requirements
  • Test event planning and execution for system integration lab and flight testing
  • Develop and support Interface Control Documents (ICDs)
  • Perform engineering investigations regarding aircraft integration issues
  • Collaborate across varied engineering and programmatic teams for systems-level technical oversight
  • Track integration program budget and schedule to ensure success
  • Develop and execute procedures for system integration lab testing
  • Integrate Boeing weapon systems to air launch platforms
  • Perform post-test data analysis on weapon interface performance

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering (Electrical, Mechanical, Aeronautical), Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry or non-US equivalent qualifications
  • 2+ years related work experience or equivalent technical education and experience
  • Experience working in a test environment, lab and/or flight test
  • Willingness to travel up to approximately 25% of the time
  • 5+ years related work experience preferred
  • 3+ years of project management experience preferred
  • Experience in the defense industry preferred
  • Prior avionics hardware/software integration experience a plus
  • Knowledge of MIL-STD-1553, MIL-STD-1760, and/or integration lab experience a plus
  • Experience testing and troubleshooting software
