About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- System Integration support and leadership from design through test and fielding
- Support all aspects of hardware/software integration of weapons to platforms
- Development of functional-level and detail-level hardware/software requirements
- Test event planning and execution for system integration lab and flight testing
- Develop and support Interface Control Documents (ICDs)
- Perform engineering investigations regarding aircraft integration issues
- Collaborate across varied engineering and programmatic teams for systems-level technical oversight
- Track integration program budget and schedule to ensure success
- Develop and execute procedures for system integration lab testing
- Integrate Boeing weapon systems to air launch platforms
- Perform post-test data analysis on weapon interface performance
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering (Electrical, Mechanical, Aeronautical), Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry or non-US equivalent qualifications
- 2+ years related work experience or equivalent technical education and experience
- Experience working in a test environment, lab and/or flight test
- Willingness to travel up to approximately 25% of the time
- 5+ years related work experience preferred
- 3+ years of project management experience preferred
- Experience in the defense industry preferred
- Prior avionics hardware/software integration experience a plus
- Knowledge of MIL-STD-1553, MIL-STD-1760, and/or integration lab experience a plus
- Experience testing and troubleshooting software
