About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Support the Mechanical/Electrical Ground Support Systems in Everett, WA
  • Design, develop, and manufacture KC-46 Ground Support Equipment
  • Provide critical support of fielded hardware the entire product lifecycle
  • Assist with the development and documentation of mechanical system requirements and GSE design environment
  • Evaluate GSE drawings and supplier tests to verify operational and functional requirements
  • Assist in monitoring suppliers' performance to ensure compliance with requirements
  • Support resolution of product integration issues and production anomalies
  • Research engineering changes and data to develop Support Equipment requirements
  • Develop Ground Support Equipment System Layout, Assembly drawings and Bill of Material/Parts List creation
  • Communicate with technical personnel from multiple skill areas and functions to evaluate GSE solutions
  • Develop, and review VECTOR Service Bulletins related to Service Bulletin including COSP/Safety Assessment
  • Determine Service Bulletin error engineering solutions

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering (with a focus on Mechanical, Civil, Aerospace Aeronautical or Material Sciences)
  • 3+ years of experience with preparing and coordinating technical documentation (engineering drawings, specifications, statements of work, technical manuals, etc.) and/or experience in business analysis, financial analysis, managerial accounting, or estimating
  • 3+ years of experience in mechanical and structural design using Catia V5
  • 3+ years of experience accurately and productively reviewing, commenting, resolving and approving technical designs and data packages
  • Experience developing requirements for systems engineering processes
  • 5+ years of higher education and/or related work experience (Higher education includes college, university, technical school, licensing/certification programs, etc.)
