About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Lead software development teams supporting Boeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA) Illustrated Parts Catalog (IPC) teams
- Oversee all aspects of software development lifecycle including large scale agile development, system maintenance, and production operations
- Maintain and develop new applications for IPC suite
- Manage employees performing application software development and maintenance
- Develop and maintain relationships and partnerships with customers, stakeholders, peers, partners and direct reports
- Provide oversight and approval of technical approaches, products and processes
- Ensure continued focus on the safety of the flying public
Requirements
What you’ll need- At least one year of experience in a leadership role
- 3+ years of experience with software development projects, systems projects, and/or requirements analysis
- Experience leading projects and/or individuals in software development lifecycle tasks
- Experience managing or leading a team in a technical discipline
- Prior experience in technical data creation and delivery processes and tools
- Experience with digital data delivery standards ATA or S1000D
- Experience in Agile software development practices
- Understanding of BASIC and Boeing’s Compliance requirements for software and hardware
- Awareness of LRBP Investments & Priorities set by Product Managers and governed by IT
