About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Partner with internal stakeholders and external suppliers
- Negotiate contracts for products, services and technologies
- Engage stakeholders to ensure that program, customer, product and in-service strategies are integrated into source selection, negotiation and contracting strategies
- Negotiate pricing and contract terms and conditions
- Prepare and execute negotiated contractual documents and binding agreements
- Optimize execution of the supply chain balancing inventory, supply orders and schedule demand
- Manage supplier/subcontractor performance and relationship to ensure delivery, quality, financial stability and in-service performance
- Mitigate risks and issues
- Initiate supplier improvement activities and provide results for integration into contracting strategies
- Perform continuous review and analysis of demand and supply
- Prepare and execute proprietary information agreements
- Support sourcing strategies, negotiations and documenting of contracts and agreements
- Communicate performance expectations and metrics to evaluate and monitor supplier performance
Requirements
What you’ll need- 2-4 years of relevant experience
- Understanding of the commodity
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office
- SAP/ERP knowledge
- Adaptability & global mind set
- Building Positive Relationships
- Strong and Effective Communication
- Customer Focus
- Analytical Skills & tool development for sustainability initiatives
- Interpersonal skills and customer focus are crucial to be successful in the role
- BPSS required
