About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Partner with internal stakeholders and external suppliers
  • Negotiate contracts for products, services and technologies
  • Engage stakeholders to ensure that program, customer, product and in-service strategies are integrated into source selection, negotiation and contracting strategies
  • Negotiate pricing and contract terms and conditions
  • Prepare and execute negotiated contractual documents and binding agreements
  • Optimize execution of the supply chain balancing inventory, supply orders and schedule demand
  • Manage supplier/subcontractor performance and relationship to ensure delivery, quality, financial stability and in-service performance
  • Mitigate risks and issues
  • Initiate supplier improvement activities and provide results for integration into contracting strategies
  • Perform continuous review and analysis of demand and supply
  • Prepare and execute proprietary information agreements
  • Support sourcing strategies, negotiations and documenting of contracts and agreements
  • Communicate performance expectations and metrics to evaluate and monitor supplier performance

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 2-4 years of relevant experience
  • Understanding of the commodity
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office
  • SAP/ERP knowledge
  • Adaptability & global mind set
  • Building Positive Relationships
  • Strong and Effective Communication
  • Customer Focus
  • Analytical Skills & tool development for sustainability initiatives
  • Interpersonal skills and customer focus are crucial to be successful in the role
  • BPSS required
