About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Develop architecture and design of web based integrated systems
  • Provide design and architectural support for ongoing tools in development and production
  • Debug and problem solve current enhancements and production systems
  • Conduct Proof of Concepts for feasibility and performance as needed
  • Define transitional architecture and product roadmaps aligned with the business priorities
  • Provide technical and functional leadership in conduct of trade studies and selection of the best tool using best practices of exploration, research, requirements study and architecture
  • Identify multiple possible Commercial off the Shelf (COTS) tools and solutions backed by data and research
  • Support the planning and conduction of workshops, user outreaches, deep dives for COTS Tool and solution elaboration to arrive at a best fit tool
  • Define solution architecture and elaborate the solution for critical use cases
  • Propose and lead Artificial Intelligence (AI) integrations and capabilities
  • Problem solve and build consensus across cross functional teams with multiple perspectives and goals

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 3+ years of experience as an Application or System Architect, or Development Lead
  • 3+ years of experience Java and associated frameworks and tools such as Spring Boot, WildFly, JPA, Maven
  • 3+ years of experience in Microservices architecture with real time large scale system integrations
  • 3+ years of experience with JavaScript (e.g., Angular, JQuery)
  • 3+ years of experience with GitLab, Azure DevOps and CI/CD (Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery (CI/CD)
  • 3+ years of experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes)
  • 3+ years of experience with advanced data modeling techniques and both relational and NoSQL databases (e.g., SQL Server, Oracle, Teradata, MongoDB)
  • Experience testing and ensuring “first time quality” on web based eCommerce applications developed using Java / J2EE tech stack
  • Experience with software development applications: Requirement (Jama), Backlog management and collaboration (Confluence, JIRA, Crowd), CI/CD (Artifactory/X-Ray, GITLab, Jenkins), Test (MicroFocus ALM and LRE, JMeter), and Code Quality/Security (SonarQube, Coverity)
  • Great understanding of Agile principles and hands on experience of at least one Agile software development methodology like Scaled Agile Framework
