About the role
- Represents the company to diverse customers, including U.S. Government, and manages formal customer correspondence
- Leads cross-functional proposal development and contract negotiation efforts
- Develops and maintains relationships and partnerships with customers, stakeholders, peers, and partners
- Exercises commitment/signature authority to negotiate and contract for the development or sale of high-performance defense and aerospace products
- Administers and interprets complex contracts and agreements during the entire acquisition and product lifecycle
- Reviews and analyzes contractual terms and conditions, Performance Work Statements (PWS) and ground rules and assumptions
- Analyzes relevant business risks and develops mitigation solutions for review and implementation
- Develops transaction review and approval documentation, leads briefings/reviews and obtains required approvals from senior level management
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or higher
- 3+ years of experience with government contracts
- 3+ years of experience building, developing, and maintaining customer relationships
- 5+ years of related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (preferred)
- 3+ years of experience utilizing the Microsoft Office Suite (preferred)
- 3+ years of experience in proposal development and contract negotiations with U.S. Government Customers (preferred)
- 3+ years of experience with FAR (Federal Acquisition Regulations) (preferred)
- Active U.S. Top Secret/SCI security clearance (preferred)
