About the role
- Define and own the product roadmap for a cloud domain (e.g., compute, storage, networking, platform services, cost management, or security) aligned to BCA goals
- Gather and key stakeholder needs through interviews, telemetry, support insights, and competitive analysis
- Balance short-term operational/incident response responsibilities with long-term strategic initiatives
- Partner with cloud engineering, platform teams, architects, info-sec, and business stakeholders to deliver secure, compliant, and scalable cloud solutions
- Drive cross-functional delivery: coordinate releases, manage dependencies, and remove blockers
- Establish and track product key performance indicators (KPIs) (e.g., cost optimization, availability, deployment frequency, time-to-market, adoption)
- Lead stakeholder engagement, including executive updates, working sessions, and governance forums
- Manage lifecycle from discovery to deprecation: user research, requirements, acceptance criteria, and readiness for production
- Advocate cloud best practices (security, cost management, observability, reliability) and vendor management where applicable
- Support change management and adoption: training, documentation, and internal communications
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience assessing security architecture and capabilities of SaaS and COTs products
- 3+ years of experience with Cloud hosted platforms such as AWS, Google Cloud Platform, or Azure
- 3+ years of experience in process management, running the business operations, and proactive productivity metric development
- 3+ years of experience working in a cross functional environment with all levels in the business from individual contributors to executive leadership
- Bachelor's degree or higher
- Cloud certifications (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
- Certified Product Owner (CSPO) or related product management certification
- Experience in aerospace, defense, or regulated industries
- Experience with cloud cost management tools and FinOps practices
- Experience with IaC (Terraform, CloudFormation), CI/CD, container orchestration (Kubernetes)
