About the role
- Act as the QMS management representative(s) to monitor the implementation and overall health of their QMS.
- Supports internal audits to ensure compliance to contractual, Company and regulatory requirements.
- Develop quality metrics to track compliance with contractual, Company and regulatory requirements.
- Prepares team for yearly AS9100 3rd party audits.
- Maintains & coordinates the internal and external audit function.
- Maintains the Corrective Action status system.
- Analyzes trends to evaluate effectiveness of corrective actions.
- Recommends corrective actions to address adverse trends.
Requirements
- Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited course of study in engineering, engineering technology (includes manufacturing engineering technology), chemistry, physics, mathematics, data science, or computer science
- 5+ years of experience in Quality Management Systems (QMS)
- 5+ years of experience with root cause analysis and corrective action (RCCA) methods
- 5+ years of experience performing quantitative or statistical analysis, data collection, preparation and interpretation
- 5+ years of experience working with AS9100 and/or similar QMS Standard
- Ability to obtain a clearance for access to a National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) facility
