Key responsibilities & impact

Develop and maintain a 24-month rolling forecast for the assigned commodity group by analyzing historical sales data, market trends, and expert input
Manage inventory levels by setting and monitoring Min/Max thresholds, identifying variances, and implementing corrective actions
Monitor inventory health to ensure optimal customer service and maintain a high on-time delivery rate
Prepare and present data and materials for weekly planning meetings with buyers
Take ownership of key performance metrics including inventory health, on-time delivery, purchasing past due, and forecast accuracy
Balance supply and demand for parts managed by assigned commodity buyers
Lead monthly demand review meetings with program customers and cross-functional teams
Generate and analyze reports using Oracle, SAP, and Access/SQL

Requirements

What you’ll need

5+ years experience in Planning or Supply chain role with a focus on planning and analytics
Excellent excel skills gained in an analytical role, preferably being able to work with macros and scripting
Proficiency in supply chain management software and data analysis tools such as JDA/SPM and Oracle BI
Proficiency in SQL, querying databases to support data analysis and reporting
Experience with ERP system functionality with an emphasis on SAP
Extensive data analysis skills from a previous role, ideally in forecasting, supply planning or similar
