About the role
- Perform hands-on mathematical modeling, simulation, and data analysis.
- Analyze system behavior, including stability, linearity, and transient/steady-state responses.
- Design, develop, and validate advanced algorithms in MATLAB and Simulink.
- Develop and execute Hardware-in-the-Loop (HIL) and Software-in-the-Loop (SIL) tests for algorithm validation.
- Create, control, and instrument real-time applications directly from Simulink models.
- Deploy models on real-time simulation platforms like Speedgoat, or National Instruments.
Requirements
- Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering (Electrical, Mechanical, Aeronautical), Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry or non-US equivalent
- 1+ years with MATLAB and Simulink
- Must be willing to work variable shifts; including day, evening, night, and weekends
- Active U.S. Secret security clearance
- 3+ years of related work experience (preferred)
- Active U.S. Top Secret security clearance (preferred)
- 1+ years of experience in C/C++ for embedded software development (preferred)
- 1+ years of experience with Speedgoat real-time target computers and I/O modules (preferred)
- 1+ years of experience with MATLAB App Designer (preferred)
