About the role
- Lead strategic portfolio management for the CTS Flight Training Device (FTD) network
- Develop and maintain long-term capital plans for simulator investments
- Define and drive project scopes, schedules, budgets, and resource plans
- Serve as the single point of accountability for integration across multiple teams
- Lead selection, contracting, and technical oversight of suppliers and vendors
- Translate technical requirements into executable implementation plans
- Coordinate site selection and readiness activities for devices
- Establish and manage risk, issues and change control processes
- Prepare and deliver high-impact briefings and decision packages to senior leadership
- Own budget stewardship and financial tracking for portfolio activities
- Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) for the simulator portfolio
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives across processes
- Ensure technical solutions meet quality and safety standards
- Recruit, develop, and manage a small, cross-disciplinary team
- Act as customer and sales interface for FTD placement and upgrades
- Facilitate knowledge transfer and standardization across global CTS campuses
Requirements
- 5+ years of project management experience
- Experience briefing senior leaders
- Experience in managing budgets
- Engineering or Business Administration degree (preferred)
- Experience with Boeing flight simulators
- 1+ years management experience
- Experience driving technical strategies
