About the role
- Apply an interdisciplinary, collaborative approach to plan, design, develop and review educational material and guidance for general certification topics
- Represent BDS Engineering in collaboration on Enterprise-wide certification discussions and workshops
- Advise program leadership, certification focals and Technical Lead Engineers
- Mentor current and future Certification TLEs
- Consult on NARs
- Contribute to BDS and Enterprise-wide certification guidance documents
- Author or co-author Design Practices and participate in Technical Design Reviews
Requirements
- Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited course of study in engineering, engineering technology, chemistry, physics, mathematics, data science, or computer science
- 9+ years’ experience or Master’s and 7+ years for Level 4
- 14+ years’ experience or Master’s and 12+ years for Level 5
- 5+ years of experience in the aerospace industry
- 4+ years of experience authoring and reviewing certification plans or deliverables for FAA and/or military certification projects
- 3+ years of experience technical writing
- 3+ years of experience as a technical leader
