About the role
- manage domestic and international transportation and logistics
- ensure compliance, cost control, and process improvement
- liaise with carriers and stakeholders to coordinate freight movements
- lead implementation and documentation of new processes
- investigate loss/damage claims and perform root-cause analysis
- analyze shipment options and develop transportation plans
Requirements
- 6+ years’ experience with transportation and logistics operations
- collecting and analyzing data from multiple sources
- interpreting data and presenting analysis: providing recommendations to management
- ability to travel domestically on a potential quarterly basis
- 6+ years in a lead or similar role supporting International Ocean Freight Transportation & Coordination
- experience in a Supply Chain Management and/or Freight Forwarding role
- exceptional multi-tasking skills
- strong interpersonal skills, including in oral and written communication
