About the role
- Promotes a safe work environment and upholds safe work practices
- Plans and executes domestic and export shipments in compliance with ITAR and EAR regulations
- Engages collaboratively with the team to achieve business goals
- Initiates loss and damage claims to carriers and supports claims investigations
- Fosters and promotes an environment of continuous improvement
- Identifies work statement changes and capacity surges
- Supports the development of Statements of Work to secure cost-effective transportation services
- Proposes changes to standardized work to improve processes
- Supports transportation projects from inception to completion
- Investigates and performs root cause analysis on complex logistics initiatives
- Develops and cultivates relationships with service providers, suppliers, stakeholders, peers and business partners for collaborative solutions
- Demonstrates strength in taking complex business challenges and creating and executing streamlined solutions
- Drives and manages organizational integration and change management
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in Domestic and International Supply Chain Logistics
- 3+ years of experience working with import and export licenses and regulations for maintaining compliance with transportation regulations for international and domestic shipments
- 3+ years of experience with enterprise shipping systems
- Bachelor's degree or higher (preferred)
- 3+ years of experience in data analytics and/or business intelligence (preferred)
- 3+ years of experience in project management (preferred)
- 3+ years of experience with freight forwarding and/or transportation modes (preferred)
- 3+ years of experience with BESSy (Boeing Enterprise Shipping System) (preferred)
- 3+ years of experience with GXO Order Manager WMS (preferred)
- 1+ year of experience leading teams through process and change management (preferred)
- 1+ year of experience developing presentations for and presenting to executive leadership (preferred)
