About the role

  • Facilitation and leadership in team process improvement initiatives.
  • Assist in cleaning up technical debt.
  • Coordinate meeting/agenda including action tracking.
  • Generation and refinement of software integration metrics.
  • Coordinate with US Navy focal to provide flight test information to the Boeing team.
  • Ensure engineering and operations processes function properly to allow production users to perform daily tasks with minimal interruption.
  • Develop, document, implement, and ensure compliance with requirements for engineering tools, processes, and standards.
  • Lead Lean initiatives and drive improvements in safety, quality, delivery, and cost across multiple programs.
  • Support execution of Software Quality Management Plan.
  • Generating data to support the Cost Account Managers (CAMs) via the Earned Value Management System (EVMS).

Requirements

  • 1+ years' experience with engineering concepts, processes, and methods.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office tools such as: Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
  • Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited course of study in engineering, engineering technology, chemistry, physics, mathematics, data science, computer science or software engineering or equivalent experience strongly preferred.
  • Six Sigma Black Belt, Green Belt or Lean Master Certification preferred.
  • Knowledge of Total Quality Management (TQM) and Change Management experience is preferred.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Sound delegation skills accompanied by effective ability for follow-up.
  • Proficiency with Windows-based software.
  • Excellent communication skills (verbal and written); ability to effectively interact with all levels of the organization.
