About the role
- Developing and maintaining strong relationships with the U.S. Air Force Program Executive Office, various international customers, and Boeing International in-country representatives
- Partnering with internal departments on contract performance using Boeing Program Management Best Practices (PMBP) and Earned Value Management (EVM)
- Managing deliverables by defining plans for risk mitigation, issues, and opportunities; and monitoring baseline plans to assess project performance, productivity, and lessons learned
- Establishing priorities based on customer needs; and providing technical, business, and integration leadership for the development and execution of the project plans
- Communicating regularly with customers, responding to customer verbal and written actions, including leading proposal development efforts, and developing Statements of Work (SOW) to satisfy ongoing and new business requirements
- Ensuring that the customer has a fully supported weapon system by reviewing pre-contract requirements, supporting negotiations, and ensuring the contract final form meets the needs of the U.S. Air Force, the International Customers, and Boeing
- Utilizing both Foreign Military Sale (FMS) and Direct Commercial Sale (DCS) business models
- Hosting Program Management Review meetings with USG stakeholders and International Customers, including preparation of agenda and presentation materials, presenting materials, and ensuring the total program status has been communicated
- Traveling domestically and/or internationally to support program execution (up to 25% of the time)
Requirements
- Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology, Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry or non-US equivalent qualifications directly related to the work statement
- Ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship. Final U.S. Secret clearance Post-Start is required
- 15+ years of related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience
- 10+ years of experience providing technical leadership or project management to cross-functional engineering projects
- Strong knowledge of engineering principles, project management methodologies, and product development processes
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills
- Ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams and manage multiple priorities
- Experience with risk management, cost control, and schedule management
- Ability to travel both domestically and internationally
