About the role
- Identify, assess, integrate and coordinate mitigation of complex geopolitical risks
- Monitor, assess, and synthesize global geopolitical developments
- Evaluate second- and third-order impacts of geopolitical events
- Produce clear, decision-focused risk assessments and scenario analyses
- Coordinate input from diverse internal and external stakeholders
- Integrate geopolitical risk insights into enterprise risk management, strategic planning, and investment processes
- Serve as subject matter expert to leadership and teams in various business units
- Advise on risk mitigation strategies
- Develop and maintain geopolitical risk indicators, dashboards, and early-warning frameworks
- Conduct structured scenario planning, stress testing, and tabletop exercises
- Track evolving geopolitical trends and provide proactive alerts
- Apply AI and advanced analytics tools for trend analysis and forecasting
- Produce high-quality written products for senior executives
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or higher
- 3+ years of experience working in Global Geopolitical Risk, Government Affairs or a Governmental Organization
- Master’s Degree or higher (preferred)
- 10+ years of related work experience or equivalent (preferred)
- 5+ years of experience in Global Geopolitical Risk, Government Affairs or a Governmental Organization (preferred)
- Experience developing and maintaining relationships with senior executives, customers, stakeholders, peers, and partners (preferred)
- Experience in a global corporation, management consulting firm, global regulator, an Embassy, or Government Affairs office (preferred)
