About the role
- Assuring operational compliance with specifications
- Documenting tank line production procedures, working production and quality issues (e.g., racking, staining, etc.)
- Coordinating maintenance downtime and tank dumps with production needs
- Providing technical requirements for tank line modifications and assisting in capital planning
- Coordination with operations, maintenance, and vendors regarding any process improvements
- Promotes standardization across business activities
- Evaluates emerging technologies for potential application to business needs
- Conducts complex analysis to determine performance or reasons for failures of tools, materials, parts, or processes
- Implements corrective and preventive actions
- Uses project management tools to meet cost, technical, and schedule requirements
- Incorporates environmental health and safety, LEAN and Quality principles
- Leads others and work statement, assists defining strategies and/or provides consultation
Requirements
- Bachelor, Master or Doctorate of Science degree from an accredited course of study, in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry
- 5+ years of experience in chemical engineering and/or applied chemistry practices
- 2+ years of experience working in a production environment
